Over the last 20+ years, Randy Byers has developed a unique style of horsemanship that has changed and evolved over time. Like many trainers, he started training horses from the ground using methods taught to him by John Lyons. In the beginning, he learned how to start, tame, and work through challenging unwanted behaviors. Eventually, this led him down the path to Western Dressage, Working Equitation, Classical Dressage, and now “Competitive Dressage” Randy is currently competing through FEI Prix St George.
He soon recognized that he could not label himself either English nor Western. It was time to create a new name and a new logo that will encompass all that Randy has become. He chose the name Hybrid to represent how he blends and incorporates a wide range of styles and techniques. We hope you like the new direction Randy Byers is heading. Follow the dream.
