Over the last 20+ years, Randy Byers has developed a unique style of horsemanship that has changed and evolved over time. Like many trainers, he started training horses from the ground using methods taught to him by John Lyons. In the beginning, he learned how to start, tame, and work through challenging unwanted behaviors.  Eventually, this led him down the path to Western Dressage, Working Equitation, Classical Dressage, and now “Competitive Dressage” Randy is currently competing through FEI Prix St George.

He soon recognized that he could not label himself either English nor Western. It was time to create a new name and a new logo that will encompass all that Randy has become. He chose the name Hybrid to represent how he blends and incorporates a wide range of styles and techniques. We hope you like the new direction Randy Byers is heading. Follow the dream.

When you are choosing a trainer, instructor, or clinician, it is important to get to know that person. To understand his motivation, strengths, faults, talents and passion. This website was especially design for you to get to know ” the secret man of the heart”. Randy Byers is very approachable and giving of his time. He cares about your dreams, goals, and willingness to succeed. Feel free to contact him and get to know the “secret man of the heart”.

Randy would like to give a big thank you to Jackie Robbins at EQGraphics.com for creating his new logo. Randy gave Jackie the freedom to take these concepts and build something awesome. This is what she came up with.
